Veterinarian

Our doctor, Radka Busina D.V.M., a resident of Yelm, has over 22 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Busina's medical experience began as an ICU pediatric nurse in Europe before expanding her medical expertise to her four-legged friends.

Graduating from University of Montreal in 1998, she dedicated an additional year to further her education by participating in an optional intensive internship program in emergency medicine. During that year, Dr.Busina also worked closely with specialists in internal medicine, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, and cardiology to strengthen her skill in those fields. Currently, Dr Busina is studying the benefits of using eastern medicine in conjunction with conventional veterinary care, and is working to incorporate some aspects of integrative medicine in her approach to the treatment of chronic and debilitating diseases and conditions.
